Dr. Lorneka’s Bio
Dr. Lorneka Joseph is a renowned speaker, coach, and expert on emotional intelligence. She is originally from The Bahamas but currently resides in Florida, where she helps others overcome their fears, insecurities, and emotional scars. Dr. Joseph’s mission is to teach individuals how to declutter their bodies, and souls, and reduce the effects of stress and over-performance.
Dr. Joseph has developed a unique approach to coaching that emphasizes the importance of wellness, interpersonal relationships, and self-awareness. Her journey to becoming a coach was not a straight path, and she understands the challenges of developing one’s purpose in life. Despite this, she pursued a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Florida A & M University and is a certified HIV/AIDS 500/501 Counselor.
She has been recognized by actress Taraji P. Henson’s mental health foundation, inducted into the Miami Dade College 2016 Alumni Hall of Fame, and awarded by the Allen Entrepreneurial Institute. She has also been featured in Forbes, Essence magazines, and Comcast TV, and has been a Miss Bahamas Beauty World 2008 and Best Smile Winner.
